At the recent Community Seminar 2024, Minister Edwin Tong SC shared an inspiring vision for building a more united and caring society in Singapore. We at Willowmore are pumped to back the People’s Association (PA) in their mission to boost our communities and create a society that's both harmonious and inclusive.

For almost 65 years, PA has played a key role in making Singapore one of the most united societies in the world. Our shared spaces are open, welcoming, and respect everyone’s unique needs. But as Minister Tong reminded us, we can't take this unity for granted. In a challenging and ever-changing world, we’ve got to keep pushing for improvement.
At the seminar, three main shifts were highlighted to guide PA’s future efforts:
Broadening Community Participation : By bringing together volunteers, corporate partners, and community organisations, we can make a bigger, more meaningful impact.
Focusing on Care and Compassion : Building a kinder, gentler society means supporting the most vulnerable among us and making sure no one is left behind.
Leveraging Technology : Using innovative tools to connect people, make things more convenient, and strengthen community bonds.
These goals totally align with Willowmore’s commitment to developing solutions that serve communities. We’re eager to pitch in through volunteering and actively creating community-focused solutions.
As Minister Tong emphasised, it’s not just about talking—it’s about taking action. We’re excited to get involved and work with PA and other partners to support important causes and meet the needs of our society. Together, we can keep building a Singapore that cares for everyone.
Thanks, Minister Edwin Tong SC, and the People’s Association, for leading the charge. Let’s make it happen!
